In
"Joyfully Mad" you will experience the struggles and discoveries that come with growing up, through the eyes of
13 talented artists from
Madskills and
Joyman Gallery. Their works reflect themes of joy, sorrow, and the courage required to face change, inviting the audience to consider their own process of transformation. Featured artists include
NoiNah, Bobby Leash, CHORKUNG, FAHFAHS, Tat Nattee, Manow nowhere, Nym Tanim, Studio Garage, Krachok, Sauce Harrison, Kolahon, Poon Amornchorn, and
Makkuroi. Each artist presents a unique perspective on personal growth, using a variety of artistic mediums to tell their stories.
Poon Amornchorn "Flashback"For Poon, drawing began as a childhood passion for cartoons and creative expression. “Drawing cartoons as a child allowed me to reconnect with the purity of imagination, where I didn’t have to worry about the outside world and could create stories of my own,” he says. His work reflects the transition from innocence to adulthood, a journey through various stages of life as seen through the lens of creativity.
FAHFAHS "Hope Like a Flower"As we grow older, the dreams and hopes we had as children evolve with time. "๊Unfortunately, some of the things we once held dear fade as we grow" she reflects. Though we may feel like many things slip away with time, growth is also about discovering new beauty and meaning. For him, personal growth is not only about losing what we once had, but finding the beauty in each stage of life as we adapt to change.
Noinah "The Mind is Both Black and White"Noinah speaks to the internal struggles that come with growing up, acknowledging both the light and dark sides of human nature. "We all have both good and bad within us, and growth is learning to accept and understand that," he shares. His work explores the concept that personal development is not just about gaining experience but learning to embrace imperfection and the flaws that make us human.
The exhibition
"Joyfully Mad" is more than just an exploration of the challenges and losses that come with growing up. It is a celebration of the beauty found in imperfection and a space for reflection on the diverse paths to maturity. Through the varied perspectives of these
