Meet the Artist “
Tsukene”
Her nickname was inspired by tsukune—the delicious Japanese chicken meatball that requires a careful blend of ingredients, shaping, and grilling. Much like her artistic process, it’s all about thoughtful creation and craft.

Khun Sai has been passionate about Japanese culture since childhood. It began with studying Japanese in high school and evolved through years of self-discovery. Eventually, she pursued a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and found a deep love for woodworking and sculpture.

Inspired by self-belief and the journey of self-discovery, her experiences have been transformed into the artworks in this exhibition.
No Spark is Ever Lost asks: What if that small spark of passion you once had is still waiting to be found again?
In No Spark is Ever Lost, two featured pieces represent key inspirations—profound memories and the roots of an identity that now shines brightly.
1. The Crane DancerInspired by the artist’s fascination with observing bird behavior, she discovered that each bird has a unique and beautiful personality. A child who grows up loving birds doesn’t necessarily have to become an ornithologist. They might grow into a ballet dancer, graceful like a crane—or anyone who channels that inspiration in their own unique way.
2. NubnibA symbol of the youthful spirit in all of us—the child who once dreamed, imagined, and lived in a world full of color.
While life may not always follow the path of our childhood dreams, the artist reminds us: nothing is ever wasted.
Those small joys, playful moments, and wild ideas have all shaped who we are today.

This exhibition invites you to revisit your memories through whimsical, intricately crafted works of art—paintings and wood sculptures filled with meaning and sparks that never fade.
