Ah Ma Shou Zuo (Āmā Shǒuzuò) originated from the story of Mr. Deng, our founder and a passionate tea lover. Inspired by homesickness and the cherished memories of his grandmother’s handmade tea from his childhood while living in Taiwan, he decided to preserve and continue his grandmother’s recipe by establishing the first Deng Shi Ah Ma Shou Zuo branch in Guangzhou, China, in 1982.

Ah Ma’s milk tea is distinguished by its handcrafted preparation and special family recipe passed down through generations. From carefully selected ingredients and premium buffalo milk to freshly handmade components, every step is created with dedication and care. Each tea is slowly brewed with attention to detail to deliver an authentic Taiwanese milk tea experience for everyone to enjoy.

With our commitment to quality and craftsmanship, we have continued to grow and expand for over 44 years, reaching more than 200 branches across China and internationally. In 2025, Ah Ma Shou Zuo officially expanded into Thailand.
